Ishizuka Named JVC’s CEO

Wayne, N.J. — Hiro Ishizuka has been named the new president and CEO of JVC Company of America, a division of JVC Americas Corp.

The appointment was effective Oct. 1, according to Mike Saito, CEO and president of JVC Americas.

Ishizuka, who was promoted from JVC Company of America marketing VP, will be responsible for all

operations relating to JVC home and portable consumer products in the United States. He will take over the role from Saito, who had held the dual positions of president and CEO of both JVC Americas Corp. and JVC Company of America.

Prior to being named marketing VP in 2002, Ishizuka was based in Japan, where he was general manager for the European market in the overseas sales and marketing department of the video division.

Earlier in his career, Ishizuka held several posts in the consumer video division at JVC Company of America from 1989 to 1999.

He has been an employee of Victor Company of Japan (JVC) since in 1984.
