New York – Intel announced it will start shipping the new desktop and notebook chipsets that were introduced at Computex in Taiwan starting next month.
This news narrows down Intel’s original report that the chipsets would begin shipping sometime this summer. A total of 10 new processors are slated for release with the desktop versions becoming available in early August followed by the notebook models later that month.
