announced it has expanded its line of New Balance headphones.
The NB639 ear buds are
designed to monitor such things as heart rate and caloric burn using an in-line
heart-rate monitor and a pedometer. It charges and syncs via USB, so no
batteries are required.
The ear buds have
removable rubber ear hooks and a detachable cord system. Other features include
a calorie-burning counter, BMI calculator, real-time voice-over feedback,
chronograph, rechargeable battery and stats tracker. Statistical data can be
exported to a computer for record and evaluation.
More information about
the headphones, including drivers and frequency range, were not available at
press time.
The NB639 will be
available this summer for a $99.99 suggested retail.
