Irvine, Calif. — Chris Cudina, former Humax USA sales and distribution VP, has been promoted to sales and marketing senior VP, adding marketing and business development to his responsibilities at the set-top box resource.

The company now supplies DirecTV with several satellite receiver models. Cudina was also instrumental in the expansion of the company’s OEM and ODM operations into other CE categories, including an ongoing business relationship with Sirius Satellite Radio that began with the S50 portable satellite radio and line of accessories.
Before joining Humax in 2004, Cudina was sales and marketing director of digital set-top box products at Samsung Electronics of America, overseeing its set-top box business.
Prior to Samsung, Cudina held sales and product management positions at Sharp Electronics and LG Electronics.
