Addison, Texas - Dallas Sight and Sound, a 26-year-old system designer and integrator, has become the 60
member of Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA), the specialty electronics buying group.
Dallas Sight and Sound is a full-service electronics design, installation and integration company specializing in high-end audio, video and control systems for businesses and homes. The company, based here, was founded in 1984 by industry veteran David Rogers, a founding member of CEDIA.
"Dallas Sight and Sound is the perfect fit for our group," said, HTSA executive director Richard Glikes. "They deliver the high-quality service that we expect from members, and David Rogers brings a unique perspective on the world of custom installation that you can only garner from a quarter century in the business."
Glikes said the company also has a great reputation in the industry, and was recommended for membership by another HTSA member and a vendor. "We're thrilled to welcome them to the group."
Added Rogers: "The invitation to join the ranks of our industry's leading group of custom installers was exciting for us. HTSA is all about synergy -- sharing, learning and growing within its ever-changing industry. We look forward to collaborating with peers who share the common goals of better serving our clientele and staying relevant to their lifestyle."
Dallas Sight and Sound is the second Dallas-area HTSA member, joining Stereo East in that market.
HTSA has more than $450 million in collective annual sales. Its 60 members, located in 37 states, design and install high-end audio, video, automation, lighting and climate systems for an up-market clientele.
