Palo Alto, Calif. – Hewlett-Packard today revamped its Pavilion
notebook line, giving a fresh look to the dv7 and dv6.
In addition, the company added the G series, a value notebook
line.
The dv6 and dv7 share the same basic feature set, with the former
model featuring a 15.6-inch display and the latter a 17.3-inch screen. Each has
USB 3.0, an optional Blu-ray player and comes in a dark umber finish.
Each can also be personalized by downloading exclusive wallpaper
designs made by six artists from HP’s
page.
The dv6 will carry a $749 suggested retail, while the dv7 is set
for $999. A ship date has not been announced.
The new G series contains the 14-inch g4, 15-inch g5 and 17-inch g7.
No ship date has been announced, but they will carry respective prices of $499,
$449 and $599.
