This will include content for HP’s MediaSmart flat-panel TV line with built-in broadband connectivity. He will report to John Orcutt, HP managed home business VP and GM.

Montalvo is a 20-year veteran of the IT industry working with such companies as Apple, Virage, Xerox and most recently, Jaman. Jaman is an online community and social network that delivers world cinema over broadband.

Montalvo began his career in the public sector, serving at the National Science Foundation and as a presidential appointee at the U.S. Solar Energy Bank.
