– Hewlett-Packard introduced an all-in-one PC that it’s calling its entry into
the enterprise AIO market.
Engineered for mid-market,
corporate and enterprise environments, the HP Compaq 6000 Pro Business PC features
a one-cord design, a choice of Intel Core 2 Duo processors, Windows 7
Professional 32- or 64-bit operating systems, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, hard
drives up to 1TB and an optional 80GB
solid-state drive.
The FullHD backlit
LCD screen measures 21.5 inches and has dual display capability.
Other features
include videoconferencing, a 16x Max SuperMulti optical drive, DVD burner with
LightScribe, seven USB ports, an IEEE 1394 FireWire port, a six-in-one memory
card reader, optional MXM graphics card and TV tuner, and an incorporated
display port.
The computer also
comes with an HD webcam, dual-array microphone, stereo speakers and a full
version of HP’s SkyRoom videoconferencing software.
HP said the HP
Compaq 6000 Pro all-in-one Business PC is expected to be available on July 16
with a starting price of $899. The price includes a three-year on-site limited
warranty, next-business-day service for parts and labor, free 24/7 telephone
support and select HP Care Pack services.
