Lilin North America recently introduced its IPS4204S ($3,329 suggested retail) 360-degree highspeed pan/tilt/zoom IP dome security camera featuring a long-range 20x optical zoom lens (4.7mm to 94mm) and 12x digital zoom. Combined with the camera’s 3-megapixel CMOS image sensor for FullHD 1080/30p image capture, the video-surveillance camera is well suited for covering large outdoor areas, such as parking lots or school yards, or to focus on small targets in extreme high detail.

Uniden’s G755 wireless video-surveillance system ($439 suggested retail for a four-camera system) has been a top seller at Costco, Sam’s Club and other leading retailers. It features 2.4GHz FHSS technology, a 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen monitor, weatherproof wireless cameras, builtin microphone on each of up to four cameras in the system, night-vision capture from up to 40 feet and 30 hours of recording time on an included SD card. Users can access live video on smartphones or PCs.

Swann Security’s SwannSecure all-in-one Wi-Fi video monitoring system ($379 suggested retail) is the company’s latest portable digital HD Wi-Fi video security system capable of recording in HD at any home or business. The system includes a 7-inch color LCD monitor and a day/night camera. Additional cameras can be purchased to view up to four channels at any time. SwannSecure connects to the internet and, with the download of the free app, allows monitoring the home or business on a smartphone or tablet 24/7.

The D-Link pan-and-tilt Wi-Fi camera model DCS- 5020L ($130 suggested retail) features day/night viewing, ability to access video from virtually any device, and pan, zoom and tilt features. Also included are sound detection, Wi-Fi extender features, 4x digital zoom, integrated motionsensing and night-vision technology.
