Indianapolis - hhgregg has re-launched its e-commerce site with enhanced functionality to help bring the retailer's in-store experience online.
The revamped website, which remains at
, features easy-to-use tools and other new features including:
- instant access to in-store and online product availability;
- access to hhgregg's lowest prices on appliances and electronics;
- enhanced navigation and guided search;
- personalized recommendations, and;
- expanded educational content, product tours and product guides.
Key development partners for the new site include Rosetta, for implementation; IBM, which provided the e-commerce platform; and Adobe, for imaging, recommendations and site analytics.
"We aim to help customers choose products and services that best fit their needs," said president/CEO Dennis May. "We want our customer service to be a part of their shopping experience both in our stores and online. The new hhgregg.com, with its ability to offer our best pricing and helpful product information, is an important component of our brand strategy and something we believe will resonate with our customers."
To celebrate the launch, hhgregg has partnered with Sharp to give away one 70-inch LED TV daily throughout October, and will award a grand-prize 80-inch LED TV and home-theater package on Oct. 31. Visitors will also have a chance to win weekly $1,000 shopping sprees at the stores.
