Mishwaka, Ind. — hhgregg will reach a major milestone next week with the opening of its 100th store.
The unit, located here near the University of Notre Dame outside South Bend, Ind., underscores the company’s aggressive build-out over the past decade, which has carried it into nine states.
The 53-year-old brown- and white-goods chain believes that it can ultimately sustain over 400 stores in new and existing markets nationwide.
Ribbon-cutting ceremonies and giveaways are planned for the grand opening on Thursday, Aug. 21.
