hhgregg Adds Another Pa. Store This Week

Indianapolis –
hhgregg will open a new store in Berwyn, Pa., on Thursday, Aug. 12.

The new store located
at 400 West Swedesford Rd. brings the company’s total number of stores in the
Philadelphia and greater Delaware Valley area to 13.

hhgregg currently
operates locations in Dover, Newark and Wilmington, Del.; Lawrenceville, Mays
Landing and Woodbury, N.J.; and Downingtown, Langhorne, North Wales,
Philadelphia, Whitehall and Wyomissing, Pa.

A ribbon-cutting
ceremony for the store will take place at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, followed by
the official store opening at 3:00 p.m. To celebrate the market’s newest
location, all hhgregg stores located in the Philadelphia and greater Delaware
Valley area will participate in a Grand Opening Celebration Sale from Aug. 12-21.

Along with storewide
sales, customers will have a chance to register to win a Frigidaire stainless-steel
appliance package or a Magellan GPS.

Approximately 50
residents from the area have been hired to staff the 40,000-square-foot store.
All employees undergo a comprehensive training program and receive more than
200 hours of product training each year. Like all hhgregg locations, the new
store at Berwyn/King of Prussia will showcase more than 100 digital TVs and
have more than 500 major appliances in stock every day, the chain said.
