It’s not easy getting noticed by consumers in the headphones market — especially when some of the biggest players in the CE industry are banding together with intentions to join and conquer. Despite this, retailers are still filling their shelves and peg boards with myriad models, and capturing the TWICE VIP Awards vote for headphones in the less-than $99 range is Audio-Technica’s SonicFuel ATH-CKX5iS.
Designed for active users, the in-ear headphones have 360-degree rotating ear tips with a C-tip design to stay in place while exercising or working out. They come with four sizes of ear tips and three sizes of C-tips, meant to provide a reliable fit for any user.
Other features of the SonicFuel ATH-CKX5iS include 8mm drivers, in-line mic and remote, and an included carrying pouch. Five colors are available: black, blue, green, white and red.
Frequency response is listed at 15Hz to 22kHz, with impedance of 16 ohms, sensitivity of 100dB/ mW and max input power of 40mW.
