, best known as a manufacturer of LCD TVs with novelty design styling, said Tuesday that it has opened a storefront on Amazon.com.
is using its position on the e-commerce-giant's Web site by showcasing Hannspree's 28-inch HANNS Basketball TV, 28-inch HANNS Apple TV, and the recently launched 10.1-inch HANNSpad tablet. Each item carries a special $299.99 retail price, including shipping, in celebration of the new relationship.
More products will be added to the storefront in the coming months, Hannspree said.
The launch celebration includes substantial discounts on the regular price of the listed products, Hannspree said.
The basketball and apple-shaped televisions are positioned at items well suited to metropolitan lofts, kid's rooms, or sports-themed living rooms.
Both products feature a full 1080p high-definition television that is fully encased within the brilliant cutting-edge apple or genuine leather-clad basketball design.
The TVs feature a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and two HDMI inputs.
The HANNSpad tablet is based on the Android operating systems and provides multi-touch functionality with 16GB of available storage.
Resolution is listed at 1024-by-600 pixels on a 10.1-inch LED backlit screen. Online access is enabled through WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.
"Establishing an Amazon storefront allows us to offer our stylized designer products to the biggest shopping audience in the world," stated Jon Bekefy, Hannspree marketing manager.
