New York - Haier America will be showing the full breadth of its major appliance assortment along with its new CE line at International CES next month.
The display, at booth C9826, will include current Haier white-goods along with ranges, warming drawers, wall and microwave ovens, and an induction cooktop that are slated for launch in late 2012.
Haier will highlight the majaps with daily cooking demonstrations by celebrity chef Allison Fishman, author of "You Can Trust a Skinny Cook" and host of Yahoo's Blue Ribbon Hunter.
Fishman "will be the central attraction of our CES booth as she prepares some wonderful treats for visitors and shows off the new technologies of our latest appliances, including features designed to make being in the kitchen a safer, more convenient, and overall more pleasant experience," said marketing VP Richard Block.
Haier will be one of three exhibitors, including LG and Samsung, to show major appliances at the traditionally CE-focused show.
Celebrity guests at Haier's booth will also include NBA Legends Robert Horry and John Salley, who will help unveil the company's 2012 CE lineup on Jan. 10 and Jan. 11, respectively. Their appearances will underscore Haier's status as Official HDTV of the National Basketball Association.
