St. James, N.Y. — GSM Nation, an online seller of unlocked mobile phones, has selected Global Warranty Group (GWG) to provide handset-protection programs on its website.
Under the agreement, GSM will offer GWG’s trademark Wireless Protection Program, which covers lost, stolen, malfunctioning and accidentally damaged wireless devices.
“The handset-protection programs provided by GWG will be a value-added feature to our customers and provide security in knowing their devices are protected,” said GSM operations director Khwaja Arsalan. He said the coverage fits perfectly with his company’s customer promise of a hassle-free, enjoyable experience.
GWG president Charles Pipia noted, “There is a universal need for all wireless devices to be protected, regardless of cost or features … We are confident we will deliver great programs, superior customer service and product protection to all GSM Nation customers.”
GWG describes itself as North America’s largest dealer-based, third-party provider of insurance-backed wireless device replacement programs, serving more than 8,000 independent wireless retail locations.
