GreatCall Debuts Mobile Security Service


GreatCall is introducing a mobile personal
security service of the same name this week, here,
during International CES.

Available to customers in February, the system allows
users to connect to GreatCall’s 24/7 staff of speciallytrained
Emergency Response members who can dispatch
appropriate help depending on the caller’s needs,
such as the police, a tow truck, or even a locksmith, the
company said.

The cost of the service is $15 per month.

Unlike other Personal Emergency Response Systems
(PERS) that only work while users are at home or near
their base station, GreatCall’s mobile personal security
service gives customers safety and security along with the
freedom to live their life how they want, the company said.
