St. Louis — GPX, a brand division of Digital Products International (DPI), plans first-quarter shipment of at least 15 new products, including its first two iPod-docking audio products, several new MP3 players and new home theater in a box (HTiB) systems.

The iPod-docking products are the CI189 Made for iPod clock radio at $29.99. It’s equipped with AM/FM radio, line input, and gradual wake-up to alarm, radio, or iPod with a soft amber 0.9-inch display. The $49.99 HI209 adds its own remote control.

In HTiBs GPX is launching the $69 HT119B with drawer-loaded DVD player, powered 2.1 speaker system and progressive-scan technology. The step-up HT219B at $99 features drawer-load DVD-receiver, 5.1 speakers and progressive scan. Both play DVD+/-R/RW, CDs, CD-R/RW and JPEG formats and files.

Also planned: two 3.1-channel systems that use SRS TruSurround XT to replicate a 5.1-channel experience from a 3.1-channel HTiB. The units are the iT209B without DVD and iT319B with 1080p up-scaling DVD. Additional details and pricing weren’t available.

In MP3 players, the brand will offer the MW149R flash-memory player with retractable USB drive, display and ear buds. It doesn’t play protected music. The MW249 flash players, with MP3 and WMA playback, come with ear buds and SD/MMC expansion slot. It runs on an AAA battery. The MT948B combines MP3 and video playback along with 1.3-megapixel digital still and video camera, 2.8-inch LCD touchscreen, and MP3/WMA audio playback. All will be available in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB versions.

Another new product is $149 PD7719B portable DVD player with dual 7-inch LCD screens and two sets of ear buds for sharing. It reads JPEG-encoded discs as well. It comes with AC adapter, car kit, battery and remote.

In other home products, the brand is launching a pair of auto set clock radios, the $12.99 C209B and $19.99 C389B with Intelli Set, one-button set for daylight savings changes and line input.

The $19.99 HM109B clock radio features line input and 3.5mm headset jack.
