Washington — Former Vice President Al Gore has decided to open up his keynote speech to the press next week at CTIA Wireless 2009 “due to a high degree of interest,” CTIA announced.
Gore will speak on Friday, April 3 at 9:30 a.m., at the Las Vegas Convention Center. During the hour-long speech, Gore “will discuss the relationships between technology, the economy and the environment,” CTIA said.
Gore is a member of the board of directors of Apple and a senior advisor to Google. Both companies are CTIA members.
Gore normally closes his trade-show speeches to the press.
