Giant Adds Wi-Fi To Frame

Atlanta — Giant International will ship a Wi-Fi-enabled digital photo frame to dealers in November.

The 7-inch Intouch IT7150 can stream RSS feeds and Internet content through partnerships with Frame Media’s FrameChannel and vTuner, a provider of Internet radio and TV services.

It can also wirelessly access photos, music and video stored on home PCs. Consumers can browse online photos from Flickr, Facebook, Web Albums and other online imaging services.

The frame features a touch-screen interface with a virtual QWERTY keyboard, an 800 by 480 display, 128MB of internal memory, a clock/calendar/alarm function and memory card slots. The frame also features a rechargeable battery with a roughly1.5-hour lifespan.

The frame will retail for $349. A version without the vTuner and Web TV (IT7100) will retail for $299.
