Anaheim, Calif.
– BrandSource will hold its annual
convention at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas Aug. 20 to Sept. 1 featuring an
educational program and presentations by Jim Campbell, CEO of GE Appliance and
Lighting, and other industry leaders.
As part of the educational
program Campbell will give members insight on how the appliance industry is
changing with his presentation titled “This is not your father’s Appliance
Industry,” while BrandSource executive VP John White will cover a special topic
for members on how to compete against the box-store discounts while remaining
profitable.
There’s also time
set aside for a little fun. Featured will be an evening concert headlined by
Kenny Loggins, who brings hit songs used in movies like “Top Gun,” “Foot Loose”
and “Caddy Shack.”
Attending
members can also try their luck at a chance to win a new Harley Davidson soft
tail motorcycle, or one of two Honda Urban Runabouts. Raffle tickets will
be available at the show with all proceeds going to the Butch DuBose
scholarship fund, which provides up to $10,000 annually for BrandSource
members, their employees, families and staff.
