Garmin Debuts BMW GPS

Olathe, Kan. -Garmin announced its fourth-generation OEM GPS device
for BMW motorcycles that allows two Bluetooth inputs so users can talk on the
phone and listen to music via Bluetooth.

The BMW Motorrad Navigator IV is based on the Garmin zumo
660
motorcycle GPS but it has a customized mount for BMW motorcycles. It
also has four buttons on the left side and BMW-specific points of interest. It
will be offered as a dealer option for BMW bikes starting in the third quarter.

The new unit is an improvement over the earlier BMW-Garmin
Navigator in that it now has stereo Bluetooth and allows users to send routes
to other Navigator IV devices. It also has a larger, 4.3-inch screen and
sleeker form factor. The Navigator IV can work with Bluetooth-enabled helmet or
headset and is waterproof, said Garmin.
