Miami – Startup G-Project launched its
first product, a ruggedized water-resistant portable Bluetooth speaker with
integrated handle.
The G-Go is available in black, white and
metallic blue at $69 at Target and Target.com.
The product operates on four AA batteries
delivering up to eight hours of playback time. It also features a USB power port to charge cellphones and a
3.5mm aux input to play back music from portable devices that lack stereo Bluetooth.
A water-tight
flap covers the ports, and control buttons are sealed.
The speaker is the first product in a planned
line of products from the company, which will focus on making rugged accessories
for smart devices. The company was founded in 2011 and has offices in Miami, Los
Angeles and Hong Kong.
