Valhalla, N.Y. –
officially announced pricing on
its X-Pro1 mirrorless compact system camera that made its debut at
International CES.
The
interchangeable-lens digital camera system features a custom-developed 16-megapixel
APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor that incorporates a newly developed filter array and
Fujifilm’s proprietary EXR processor technology.
The system is said
to deliver high-quality image resolution and clarity to rival currently
available mid- and high-end d-DSLRs.
The Fujifilm
X-Pro1 also features a second-generation hybrid multi viewfinder and will have
access to three new fast prime interchangeable Fujinon lenses.
Suggested retails for
the Fujifilm X-Pro1 camera and lenses are as follows: X-Pro1 (body only),
$1,699;
XF 18mm (27mm
equivalent) F2.0 lens, $599; XF 35mm (53mm equivalent) F1.4 lens, $599; and XF
60mm (90mm equivalent) F2.4 lens, $649.
The X-Pro1 body
and lenses will be available at the end of February.
