Fujifilm Names New U.S. President


Valhalla, N.Y. — Atsushi Yoneda has been appointed president and CEO of Fuji Photo Film U.S.A.

Yoneda, a 39-year veteran of the company, succeeds Yasuo "George" Tanaka, who has been appointed to the new position of chairman. Tanaka joined Fuji Photo Film, the Japanese parent company, in 1963 and currently serves on the board of directors as senior vice president, representative director. He has been president of the American company since 1998.

Yoneda was appointed executive vice president of the company in 2001 and senior executive vice president in 2003. He also served as chairman and CEO of Enovation Graphic Systems, a subsidiary of Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. that distributes equipment, consumables and technical services to the graphic communications industry.
