New York — Fujifilm will ship its first SD memory cards to dealers next month, while Lexar is readying a high-capacity SDHC card under its Kodak brand license.
Fujifilm will offer SD and MicroSD cards in 1GB and 2GB capacities. Class 6 SDHC cards will be sold in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities while MicroSDHC cards will be available in 4GB and 8GB.
All the cards will be offered in color-coded packaging to distinguish formats.
Lexar Media will ship a 16GB SDHC card under the Kodak brand to dealers next month.
The SDHC card features a 60x speed rating, with read/write speed of 9MBps. Pricing was not announced.
