Dearborn, Mich. – The
Ford Focus has been crowned the official car of 2011 International CES.
Robbing last year’s
winner, the Ford Taurus, the Focus will have a prominent presence during the
show, Ford said, with product-specific signage, displays, demos and materials.
CE-specific features of
the new Focus include Ford’s Sync technology, MyFord Touch driver connect
technology, Wi-Fi radio, Intelligent Access with push-button start, HD Radio
with iTunes tagging, and Active Park Assist. The Sony-developed audio system
boasts a class D digital amplifier, 10 speakers, three-layer soft dome tweeters
and a subwoofer offering up 355 watts of continuous power, Ford said.
