Faraci Named President Of Kodak

Rochester, N.Y. — Kodak said today that Philip J. Faraci would be promoted to president/COO.

Formerly consumer digital imaging group president and senior VP, Faraci will manage both the consumer digital group and the graphic communications group in his new position.

Faraci succeeds James T. Langley, graphic communications group president, who will leave the company at the end of the year. The positions of president for both the consumer digital imaging group and the graphic communications group will be eliminated, Kodak said.

“This new structure will allow us to better capitalize on the opportunities before us,” Antonio Perez, Kodak CEO, said in a statement announcing the personnel moves. “With a single leader for the digital businesses, we will be able to leverage our technology across product lines more effectively.”

Faraci joined Kodak in December 2004 from Hewlett-Packard. As head of the consumer digital imaging group, Faraci oversaw the relaunch of Kodak’s inkjet printer business.
