Fall RetailVision Sept. 10-13

Nashua, N.H. – Vision Events, a unit of the Gartner Group, will hold RetailVision Fall 2002 at the Century Hills Plaza Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. Sept. 10 to 13.

The event, which focuses on personal computer and CE related products, attracts senior sales and marketing executives from industry manufacturers as well as top executives from top 100 level merchants. These retailers include computer and office supply superstores, direct marketing companies, consumer electronics stories, retail buying groups, mass merchants and online retailers, according to Vision Events.

As usual the key to RetailVision is its 15-minute board room appointments, prescheduled one-on-one meetings, presentations from industry experts, World Premiere product introductions, channel announcements and networking opportunities, the organizer said.

The board room appointments allow vendors uninterrupted access to a guaranteed audience of eight to ten key retail decision makers, to outline new products and strategies.

Other features of the events are three well-known programs:

  • RetailVision University: An education forum where vendors can gain info about market conditions and the like from industry experts.
  • Retailer PowerViews: Presented by retail executives, this format educates vendors on how to plan programs, sell products and build brand awareness with their stores.
  • ChannelViews: Industry consultants share their knowledge and expertise during these vendor-only sessions on a variety of industry topics.

And there will be a Retail Power Breakfast, to be held Wednesday September 11 between 7:30 am to 9:30 am. The breakfast speaker will be James Damian, senior VP of visual merchandising and store design for Best Buy.
