EQD Launches First Auria DVD/LCD Combo Set

Mission Viejo, Calif.- Video electronics manufacturer EQD recently unveiled an Auria-branded 19-inch DVD/LCD TV combo player that is said to be Energy Star compliant.

Model EQ1977, which is available now at major online retailers for a $239 suggested retail, features 720p resolution, a wide array of connectivity options, and a two-year warranty, the company said.

"We're very excited to be announcing the addition of the Auria EQ1977 to our lineup of quality LCD TVs. This is the first TV with a built-in DVD player to wear the Auria name," said Steve Woo, EQD president. "This feature-rich 19-inch TV is perfect for dorm rooms, offices, bedrooms or RVs and would make a great gift this holiday season."

Unit design features a sleek, glossy piano-black finish. Inputs include HDMI, component, standard A/V, S-VGA, VGA and coaxial cable. A side-mounted USB port supports photos playback from a flash drive.

The TV also has outputs for headphones and digital audio.

Contrast is listed as 1,000:1 and it as two built-in speakers rated at 3 watts each.

The full line of Auria HD LCD monitors and TVs is available through major online retailers, including Amazon.com, Buy.com, Newegg.com, PC Mall and PC Connection.

Additional online retailers throughout the U.S. will be announced in the near future. The company said a portion of all Auria TV sales are donated to the Armed Forces Foundation and Miracles for Kids charities.
