Epson Unveils X15 3LCD Projector

unveiled Tuesday the low-cost PowerLite X15 3LCD projector featuring
future-ready connectivity options for small- to medium-sized classroom and
conference room applications.

The PowerLite X15 (available in May at a $599 suggested retail)
offers 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and XGA resolution.

The projector replaces the PowerLite 92 in the education
projector line and includes HDMI inputs, USB plug and play for instantly
projecting video and audio from a connected PC or Mac, Easy-Slide technology
setup, a slide control bar for horizontal keystone adjustment, a Quick Corner feature
that allows the four corners of an image to be moved independently to produce a
perfectly rectangular image, 1.2x optical zoom, and up to 5,000-hour lamp life
using Epson’s E-TORL lamp technology.

Other features include: direct power instant on/off; A/V mute slide,
which instantly turns off the sound and images for a quick pause in a
presentation; advanced connectivity, including direct connection to the Epson
DC-06 document camera via USB or multiple computers via two VGA ports; audio
out and monitor out ports that connect to external speakers and monitors for enhanced
sound and presenting ease; and RS-232c support for connection to an A/V control
device

Closed captioning is also supported.

Epson also offers its Brighter Futures sales and support program
for schools that helps educators select and implement the best products for
their classrooms while making the most of their budgets. This includes special
pricing, extended Epson limited warranty coverage for three years, dedicated
education account managers, and toll-free technical support for all Epson
projectors.

Epson’s PowerLite projectors come with a two-year limited
warranty (three years for Brighter Futures customers) that includes two elite
technical support services — Epson PrivateLine phone support with direct
access to an expedited support telephone line, and a Road Service projector-replacement
program that includes projector exchange in one business day with paid
shipping.
