Epson Adds To WorkForce Printer Line

Long Beach, Calif. – Epson today introduced four models into
its all-in-one WorkForce printer line.

The WorkForce 435, 545, 645 and 845 are targeted at the
SO/HO market and have a price range of $99 to $199. All come equipped with
Epson Connect for printing from mobile devices, and connect into a home or
business network using Wi-Fi. The 845, 646 and 545 also offer Ethernet
connectivity.

The top-end 845 has single-sided print speeds of 15 ppm for
black and 9ppm for color. Two-sided printing speeds are 7.4 ppm for black and
5.4 for color, the company reported. Other features include a 7.8-inch
touchpanel, a 500-sheet tray and Epson’s Extra High Capacity ink cartridges.

The 845 will ship this month with a $199 suggested retail.

The 645 has slightly slower single-sided and double-sided
print speeds as the 845 and has a two-sided auto document feeder for copying
and scanning two-sided originals.

The 645 will ship this month with a $149 suggested retail.

The 545 has a 2.5-inch LCD interface, a 250-sheet tray and a
15 ppm single-sided print speed. It also ships in October with a $129 suggested
retail.

The entry-level 435 has a 6 ppm print speed for black and 3 ppm
for color prints. It is selling now at Target for $99.
