EDGE Unveils 2009 Board Appointments

Seattle, Wash. — The EDGE Distributors Group, a group of 13 independently owned regional distributors that caters primarily to custom installers and residential systems integrators, today announced several changes to its board, effective Jan. 1.

Ron Harker, principal of custom distribution company CTD marketing, joins the board as a VP. He will replace Bill Richards and Glen O’Brien, who shared the VP seat since 2006.

Treasurer and secretary Chet Flynn, principal of Edge Group member Necessities, will serve another two-year term.

Cutting Edge Distributor principal Mike Levy was appointed board-member-at-large. He will serve a two-year term. According to EDGE, in his new position, he will function as a liaison between the board and the EDGE Group members. He will be charged with the task of spearheading special projects on behalf of the group.

Finally, the group’s president Mike Hench and VP Brett Neiderman will continue in their respective posts through 2009.
