San Leandro, Calif. — The EDGE Distributors Group has added three new partners to its collection of regional distributors.
In separate deals Xantech Corp., Chief and Sanus Systems, and Gefen have all joined the growing network of CE distributors.
The EDGE Distributors Group now consists of 14 independently owned regional distributors who target the “premium” U.S. custom installation market and select retailers.
Xantech will use the new partnership to make its line of A/V distribution and control systems and component products more widely available in the U.S.
“Xantech is a great addition to The EDGE Distributors Group’s line-up,” said Mike Hench, president of EDGE, adding, “They offer our dealers a vast selection of high-quality products that are necessary for every installation.”
All audio and video products from Chief and Sanus Systems will also be made available to EDGE, its network of dealers and custom installers.
“We are pleased to welcome Chief and Sanus Systems into EDGE,” said Hench. “They bring two trusted names with great products into our fold, giving us the ability to fully support our dealers in this critical product category.”
Gefen, provider of connectivity solutions, has joined the group as well, aiming to fill a void in the market.
“These dealers have an increasing need for high quality switchers, extenders, and converters and distribution amplifiers, all of which are becoming more commonplace even in the simplest installations,” said Robert Lemer Gefen’s new business development director.
EDGE’s Hench added “Gefen products will help us offer our dealers real world solutions to the complex problems associated with connecting and distributing high definition video and digital audio signals. Gefen’s broad assortment of products coupled with our ‘hands-on’ approach to dealer support and training means that we’ll have the solutions for our dealers to get the job done right.”
