Seattle — The EDGE Distributors Group is launching its first dealer certification program this year.
“The goal of the certification training program is to ensure that dealers have everything they need to ‘spec in’ the many new technologies available today and to springboard them to expert level in as short a time as reasonable,” said Katye McGregor, the group’s director.
The program, based on a partnership with Cooper Wiring Devices, will teach dealers about Cooper’s Aspire RF wireless lighting control systems which operate using Z-Wave technology.
The program is slated to begin in early 2009. EDGE said it expects to announce additional technology certification programs soon.
