Murrieta, Calif. – ECBC, a newcomer to the CE accessories field, has introduced a new line of high-density ballistic nylon device bags and cases.
The company’s B7 series includes backpacks, messenger bags and tote bags that combine a rugged exterior with a double-diamond rip-stop lined interior.
B7 backpacks are available in three sizes with a high-density foam pocket to accommodate laptops up to 17 inches.
The top-of-line Lance Daypack offers the most interior storage space of any of B7’s backpacks. It features the TSA-compliant FastPass laptop compartment, which allows a user to unzip the padded laptop compartment and lay it flat on the airport conveyor belt.
Also included is a multitude of accessories pockets, dual hideaway zippered beverage/utility pockets, an ergonomically designed shoulder strap system with multiple adjustment points and breathable padding design, and a soft neoprene exterior smartphone pocket. It retails for $150.
The step-down Javelin Daypack also has the TSA-compliant FastPass system and features water-resistant YKK zippers, and foam-padded shoulder straps and top handles. It retails for $130.
The smaller Harpoon Daypack features a large main document compartment for large files or notebooks and multiple interior accessory pockets. It retails for $100.
B7’s flagship messenger-style bag, the Tomahawk, fits most 17 inch laptops, a tablet as well as peripherals and accessories. It has the FastPass system and a water-repellent exterior coating and retails for $140.
The smaller Trident messenger protects up to a 15-inch laptop and a tablet simultaneously. It is equipped with a foldout FastPass laptop compartment, a luggage trolley pass-through handle, top zipper for quick access and a front ticket/passport pocket. It retails for $120.
B7’s Spear laptop tote features a tablet pocket and a main compartment sized to fit most 17-inch laptops, a padded shoulder strap and exterior ticket pocket. It retails $100.
The compact Dart laptop tote protects up to a 13-inch laptop and tablet with accessories. Available in black or gray ballistic nylon with a repellent coating, the Dart also sports the luggage trolley handle pass-through feature and an adjustable padded shoulder strap. It retails for $80.
