Heathrow, Fla. –
is expanding and
restructuring its sales organization to support its product-selection expansion
and entry into new product categories.
“We flattened
the organization, grew its headquarters-based sales support group, and continue
to hire more managers,” said Ed Sachs, who was hired in January as the
company’s sales division president. “These changes allow us to place more
salespeople out in the field, to focus more on serving our growing customer
base, and to effectively sell our expanded product assortment,” he said.
The
company’s expanded car electronics selection, added Dual president/CEO Jim
Braun, “combined with our growth in the marine and GPS markets required us to
make substantive additions and changes in our sales force.”
Among
the latest changes, the company hired Jim Matthay as national accounts director,
hired Jimmy Chauffe as a key account manager, appointed Dan Sandon as sales
program director, and appointed Clyde Podraza as international sales VP. Jamie
Walt remains sales VP for the central division and specialty markets, and
Matthew Gonzalez remains East region sales manager and Business development
manager for the Axxera car audio brand, which is targeted to 12-volt
specialists.
The
company said additional sales-team expansion will be completed in September.
In highlighting its expanded
selection, Dual said it
launched
the Axxera car audio brand
this year to complement its Dual car audio
brand, will expand its marine audio line to 22 head
units in the late fall, introduced portable GPS products in 2010, and recently
launched protective sleeves for touch-screen electronic devices under the
LillyPad brand.
