Heathrow, Fla. — Dual Electronics, a division of Namsung America, announced it is reorganizing the company due to rapid growth in car and home electronics since it launched the company four years ago.
The company will form two new divisions including a Dual Commerce division to oversee all product development, purchasing, transportation, warehouse management, marketing and sales functions for Dual throughout North, Central, and South America.
The new division will be led by Clyde Podraza, formerly executive VP sales and marketing, who becomes president of Dual Commerce.
The second division is the Dual Technology Group that will be responsible for developing new digital technologies for the mobile, OEM, and home markets. Matt Vinson, formerly SVP, product planning and procurement, will head this division as SVP and senior technology officer. Vinson will work with development teams in the U.S. and Korea.
Additional promotions at Dual include John Yoon, who is promoted from VP to SVP strategic planning and Robb Groner, former director of product development; who is now VP of product development. Also Steve Thomas is promoted to the position of VP finance. New to the Dual team is Dennis Wherry VP supply chain management.
Jim Braun remains Dual president and CEO.
