Las Vegas –
is coming to International CES
with a new executive.
Ed Sachs, formerly with Pioneer and a 30-year
veteran of the mobile electronics industry, has been appointed to the new
position of Dual sales division president. Sachs will lead the group responsible
for sales of all Dual products in North America. He reports to president/CEO
Jim Braun.
Sachs, who joined Dual as of Jan.
1, spent most of his mobile electronics career at Pioneer and was president of
Pioneer Mobile Electronics Entertainment USA when he retired from the company
in 2009. Since then, he has been consulting for a number of companies,
including Dual.
“I am not looking to put my stamp
on anything at Dual but rather use my experience to offer guidance to an
already sound and active sales force,” said Sachs, pointing to what the company
achieved in the few years since its founding.
