DirecTV To Present Food In 3D

El Segundo, Calif. –

DirecTV

said Thursday that it has reached a deal with Scripps Networks to carry the
first food show to be broadcast in full 3D for its n3D channel, powered by
Panasonic.

The first episode will debut at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT Dec. 4; the
co-production features Food Network star Guy Fieri and is titled “Guy’s Big
Bite in 3D.”

n3D present six new episodes of “Guy’s Big Bite,” produced
specifically for 3D. Each will feature such signature recipes as andouille and
clam crostini, Sloppy Joe’s with Maui onion straws, hoisin chicken fold-ups,
braised pork shoulder and garlic parmesan crab.

In addition, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET Nov. 27, DirecTV will
offer a selection of “The Best of Guy’s Big Bite” episodes, in 2D on DirecTV’s The
101 Network.

These episodes will feature some of Guy’s most memorable episodes
where he is paired with his son Hunter, as well as guests from his other hit
show “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,” which currently airs on the Food Network.
