Vista, Calif. — Directed is offering a special-edition security/remote-start system in something unusual for the auto sound market … pink.
Directed is debuting a Mother’s Day version of its Responder LE system from Viper and will donate a portion of the proceeds to support a leading cancer survivor and networking group called Susan G. Komen for the Cure. For each pink Responder LE sold, the company will donate $13.39, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $25,000.
The pink Responder LE is a thin-two way transmitter with LED “GhostLight” confirmation of a command. The unit has a remote-start range of 2,000 feet at a suggested retail of $479.
