LAS VEGAS — Digital Stream, licensee of the RCA brand for Mobile TV devices, unveiled at International CES its Mobile TV tablet (model DDA850R), offering reception of in-the-clear stationary over-the-air and Dyle conditional access Mobile TV broadcasts.
The DDA850R, which carries a $299 suggested retail, features an 8-inch highdefinition touchscreen and is billed as “the first tablet enabled with both an ATSC digital TV receiver and Dyle Mobile TV for live, local and national programming on-the-go from TV stations in your area.”
The tablet is a fully functional Android device that includes front and rear cameras, Wi-Fi for easy Internet browsing, email and access to Google Play.
The RCA Mobile TV tablet will be available in the first quarter.
The Dyle conditional access Mobile TV service now lists more than 90 stations on the air in 35 markets across the nation. The total mobile ATSC standard currently lists more than 130 active broadcasts currently available in the United States.
