Digital Storm Debuts Low-Priced Gaming PC

Fremont, Calif. – Digital
Storm has introduced the Marauder line of low-priced gaming PCs.

The Marauder has a
starting price of $799 and can come in four basic configurations.

All feature the
Corsair Vengeance C70 case, 8GB of memory, a DVD burner, a 600-watt power
supply, Windows 7 Home Premium, lifetime tech support and a three-year limited
warranty.

A Level 1 model is
powered by an AMD FX-1400 processor and an AMD 7750 video card with 1GB of
discrete memory and a 500GB hard drive.

The step-up Level
2, $999, adds an AMD FX-8120 processor and an AMD 7770 video card with 1GB of
discrete memory.

The $1,199 Level 4
configuration uses an Intel Core i5 2500k processor, AMD’s 7850 video card with
2GB of memory and 1TB of storage.

The flagship Level
4 model, $1,299, has a slightly more powerful AMD 7870 video card with 2GB of
discrete memory.

“With complete
systems starting at $799, this is the very first time Digital Storm has offered
such an affordable gaming PC,” said Rajeev Kuruppu, Digital Storm’s product development
director.
