As the flagship of the Canon EOS Rebel line, the T5i proved to be one of the most popular DSLRs in the U.S. imaging market and with TWICE VIP Award voters.
The T5i offered a host of imaging features and an intuitive and easy-to-use control layout. The camera features an 18-megapixel CMOS (APSC) sensor and Canon’s DIGIC 5 image processor.
Low-light sensitivity was enhanced with a 100 to 12,800 ISO range (expandable to 25,600 in H mode).
Burst shooting rang in at a respectable 5 fps, supported by a nine cross-type AF system. Videographers like the camera for its FullHD resolution supported by a Movie Servo AF system for high-quality images.
Other popular features include a vari-angle 3-inch touchscreen Clear View LCD Monitor II, and seven creative filters.
