Harrisburg, Pa. - D&H Distributing it is increasing its investment in its consumer electronics customers by adding new online navigation tools dedicated to the consumer market, in addition to ongoing services such as enhanced rewards through its Incentives Rewards Program, recycling opportunities and more to support this market segment.
The distributor has reorganized its website so that consumer electronics dealers, retailers and e-tailers can click directly on a "Consumer Marketplace" icon, which leads them to a D&H site dedicated to the CE space.
Customers can then browse pages focused on home entertainment, mobile products, home-office solutions, home healthcare devices, and a specialized audio products section, D&H said.
Manufacturers featured in the Marketplace include Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Pinnacle, Innodigital (makers of the Android-based WebTube TV tuner), Pogoplug (personal cloud device), Sony Ericsson Android smartphones, Logitech, Sennheiser, and Archos and Coby tablets.
The D&H Consumer Marketplace spotlights the latest hot products and promotions from categories ranging from computer accessories to appliances; plus access to the D&H calendar with materials and events from various D&H partners; key D&H press releases; and featured product listings.
D&H Investments for the Consumer Electronics Marketplace Include:
- Ongoing Incentives enhancement: D&H said it has steadily increased the value of its Incentives Rewards program, with more than 120 vendor participants, and with new vendors and upgraded prizes being rotated-in all the time.
- Recycling opportunities: D&H's Engaged Recycling program gives customers and their end users a responsible way to dispose of old electronics, while offering a trade-in value on certain discarded items.
- New resources: The distributor's new Digital Home Guide helps train customers in how to make more comprehensive, bundled sales. The guide is an interactive PDF, accessible 24/7 via the company's website.
- Housewares: D&H has built a growing housewares and small-appliances business, which includes brands such as Whirlpool, Hoover, Hamilton Beach, Black & Decker, Proctor & Gamble, Jarden, Homedics, Conair and many more.
"We don't stay stagnant at D&H. We look for ways to increase our investments and justify customer loyalty," said Rob Eby, purchasing VP at D&H. "The CE community evolves at a rapid pace. Our dealers and retailers should know our offerings are continuously changing, also. We're always building that benefit, to remain a strong partner into the future."
