– Digital Delivery Group (DDG), the distribution consortium for digital-home
technology, today announced the opening of a distribution center and showroom,
here, WAVE Electronics.
WAVE is its regional member for Texas,
Louisiana, Arkansas,
and Oklahoma. The new location, WAVE’s sixth,
opened for business today with a grand opening celebration to follow on Oct.
22.
Like All WAVE branches, the facility will showcase the company’s
120+ audio, video, security, and installation brands to area customers with
convenient and efficient ordering and will-call services.
“We are increasingly impressed with WAVE’s continued growth
in an otherwise slow economy,” said David Kaplan, DDG, executive director.
“I think it important to note that their growth is not just fueled by
expansion, as their current locations are also experiencing sales increases. By
opening in New Orleans now, WAVE will be well
positioned for further growth as the economy rebounds.”

As with all of WAVE’s distribution centers, the New Orleans
location offers, a fully stocked 6,000 square foot warehouse, showrooms for
dealers to use as their own, end-user financing, dealer training and much more,
DDG said.
