San Clemente, Calif. - Custom-install supplier Dana Innovations has named Simon Wehr as worldwide marketing director for the company's Sonance, iPort and Trufig brands.
Wehr will also be responsible for developing alliances between custom audio/video installers and the design community as well as building Dana's relationships with architects and designers.
Wehr, who the company reports replaces Danielle Jackson, has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience working with architects, designers and audio/video professionals. Most recently, he was with lighting brand Clipsal Australia, where he was responsible for the global strategic direction of the company's C-Bus home-automation and building-control systems.
He also worked with Sony Australia, was a CEDIA Australia board member and chaired the 2010 CEDIA Australia Expo.
