Charlottesville, Va. — Crutchfield.com has become the only merchant to win Bizrate Research’s Circle of Excellence Platinum Award for 14 consecutive years.
The award, which recognizes e-tailers’ performance and service based on customer feedback, was bestowed to only 1.3 percent of the more than 5,100 online retailers within Bizrate’s ratings network.

To date, more than 225,000 customers have rated their buying experience with Crutchfield through Bizrate, a division of Shopzilla. In the past year Crutchfield earned top marks in all seven “satisfaction indicators,” including overall satisfaction, product selection, ease of finding what you are looking for, likelihood to buy again, product met expectations, on-time delivery and satisfaction with customer support.
Crutchfield, based here, has a direct-sales heritage, starting 39 years ago as a 12-volt catalog business. Today the Progressive Retailers Organization (PRO Group) dealer ranks 38th on TWICE’s Top 100 CE Retailers Report with nearly a quarter of a billion dollars in electronics sales last year.
