Crestron Adding Staff

Rockleigh,
N.J. –

Crestron

has hired the first in a
number of market development managers to build relationships between electronic
systems contractors (ESCs) and local architects, builders and
interior/lighting designers.

The
first two managers, assigned to the Phoenix area, are A/V industry veterans John D’Angelo
and Frank Clark,
former owners of Invision Home Systems and Dream Home Entertainment, respectively. Both
custom-installation enterprises were based in the Phoenix area.

Crestron
plans to appoint market development managers in additional cities, a
spokesperson said.

In Phoenix, the new managers are tasked with demonstrating “the value of
integrated home technology and working more closely with the design community
to build deeper relationships,”
the company said. The duo will “facilitate communication and
collaboration between Crestron, integrators and designers to deliver the best solutions
for home owners.”

One of
their first tasks will be to spearhead a partnership between Crestron and
Scottsdale-based, interior design firm Est. Est. to create a state-of-the-art design center
in Phoenix,
Crestron said.

“The creation of new positions and addition of more
resources demonstrates our commitment to the continued development of the
residential market in Phoenix and nationally,” said Crestron executive VP Randy
Klein. “We are putting more resources in each market to support our local partners
and pursuing new business opportunities with architects, builders and
interior/lighting designers.”
