Issaquah, Wash. – Costco reported flat comparable store sales for consumer electronics in March.
Nonetheless, the No. 1 wholesale club posted an 8 percent spike in net sales, to $10.4 billion, and an increase in total U.S. comp sales of 6 percent, for the five weeks ended April 6.
Costco said it biggest gains were in softlines, where comps rose by the low double digits on strength in small appliances, housewares, domestics and apparel.
